For those who are wondering why I am changing my name, it is because I found demon-tears to be to generic (and it is the name of one of my stories). As I am developing my skills and growing even as a person, I thought I'd like to have a bit more of a less common and generic name. Specially one that doesn't scream of angst. Ill probably be setting up a new account on DA pretty soon. I thought if I'm really going to put my stuff out there I want a name thats really -me-. My scanner is now at where I am staying, and I'm even getting copic markers soon, so stay tunned for new account information. I will probably message all of you who are watching me anyway as well.

Ok, SO, I started drawing again. Little by little piecing myself together slowly and slowly and even more slowly. So much happens, work, sleep, eat, world of wrcraft, repeat. Woe!

Anime Evolution was a while back, i had fun, though know one knew who I was cept the few gamers (I was Jill Valentine). Next year, I'm losing tons o' weight and being the chick from Ikkitousen (always forget her name) you know the one who's all into submission moves and has blue hair. Man she's hot. I bought a statue of her off Ebay the other day, sexilicious I must say so myself. I also bought like 8 other things, one of them being 700 Pokemon cards. I'm probably one of the only adults you'll ever know whom still collects these precious pieces of paper.

Anyway, the few pictures I have been drawing lately are all 18+ (boobful KOS-MOS and Leharl/Etna smex) So you wont be seeing them. I will however be posting 2 revamped older pictures of mine (older I mean by last year some time). Anyway, naked KOS-MOS anyone?

Speaking of which, did anyone find Xenosaga 3 FLIPPING AMAZING?! I didn't play it but I watched my roomate Mike play it religiously for a week, and saw the ending too. Brilliant.

When I move away, I'm going to legally change my name to something weird. Either Felix, Laika, or Ginko. A cat, a dog, or a plant. Man, I'm awesome (or am I?)

Shouldn't I be drawing? I think I'll draw while getting to lvl 60.

So today, while doing my usual daily DA front page look, I came across a picture that grew such a feedback, that I obviously had to look. It was this picture here: [link]

This picture specifically shows Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII being rather... large, while indulging herself on a fudgcicle. Now, the quality of the picture is what kind of got me a bit, it was a bit lower, something you don't often see on the front page of DA. Which, let me say, does make me happy though, it means lesser artists are finally going somewhere. Now, while scrolling down to leave a comment, I was bombarded by a huge selection of comments dedicated to flaming not only the art, but the artist. Nothing but rude comments on how disgusting the picture was and how "fat is disgusting". Almost none of these comments were towards critiue, which is what trully disturbed me. Isn't the point of DA to make aq name for ourselves, by seeking the help of our fellow artists to see what our flaws our and improve on? If say, their comments were critique, then thats just saying fat is bad. This again, disgusts me to no lengths.

Can we, as fellow artists and DA members, be that low to bash a "lesser" artist and his/her work?

Shouldn't we be critiquing her drawing quaility, telling her what she can improve on to be a better artist? Or is that just way too much to ask...

I remember back in the day when I drew Garaa from Naruto in my style and got a few flames for it because it wasn't "Naruto-ie" enough... *sighs*

I ask all of you to not only critiue work you find online, but also leave more adult comments on it, to show that DA isn't full of pertencious artists.

Or again, is that too much to ask?

So ya, I've been non-existant for like, ever. Been working soooo much lately it's kinda sickening. Haven't been drawing either cuz an anime convention is coming up soon and I've been getting my 2 costumes together (Leona - KoF and Jill Valentine in her STARS uniform - RE) I'll be sure to try to take tons of pictures.

When I get back (August 21) I'll try to start updating again. I have a better computer now, and can actually see my pictures properly so i can colour them properly now. Before, the colours were too dark and thus there was a lot of mistakes that I can see now.

There is one picture I'll scan in tomorrow while doing laundry and start colouring it asap (thats my Alice in Wonderland one for those who know me from Gaia)
